Child Life
Learning Center
Child Life is a faith-based preschool serving child ages 2 through school age. Our vision is to provide a secure place where children are safe and loved. We are a faith-based school sharing the good news of God’s love and stories from the Bible with our children since 1975. The development of a child is a marvelous process. At this stage in life children are full of curiosity and they are eager to learn. They have spiritual, physical, emotional, social, intellectual and creative needs which are all related to the growing and learning process. The goal of our program is to integrate learning with the fulfillment of these needs and to promote the growth of the child as a complete individual. We would love the opportunity to welcome your family into our Child Life family! Our program is licensed to care for children ages 2 to 12 years old. Registration is open year-round as spots are available. Please call us at 661-871-0868 to schedule a tour!
It all begins with Family Involvement
Research shows that children continue to do better in school when parents are active in their child’s education. It is our desire to empower and inspire you to own the role of your child’s greatest teacher and most important cheerleader as they begin their formal education years! Families are invited to contribute to their child’s classroom! We would love for you to share your family culture and personal talents and hobbies with our school! Read a story, share a holiday tradition, do a cooking demonstration, show us how to change a tire, or any other creative idea you have to enrich the lives of our children! Family involvement also includes returning forms and questionnaires promptly, donating items to your child’s classroom, attending Parent/Teacher conferences, enjoying Child Life Family Nights, taking advantage of the Family Prayer Box, participating in community service activities such as Baby Bottles for the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center and Operation Christmas Child, serve on our Child Life Board, and joining us to celebrate milestones with your child!
