Half Day Program
The half day program utilizes the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The half day program
includes a morning snack and all the same enrichment activities that our full day offers.
All half day children must be picked up by 12:15 p.m.
Before and After School Program
The school age program is for children in Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and students up to age 12. School age children need an afterschool program that is relaxed and informal, a program that contrasts with their highly structured day at school. Children in our after-school program are given the opportunity to choose their activities within school and classroom guidelines. A 30-minute time frame is set aside each day for homework assistance. School age children are given the opportunity to engage in outside play, art, music, and Spiritual guidance. For an additional fee we offer transportation to and from Colonel Nichols School.

Child Life Learning Center believes that a child’s work is their play, that a child learns best when allowed to discover new things by themselves or in a small group setting. The teacher’s job then is to guide the child in his discoveries. Academics are introduced at all stages of development and increase with minimum intensity as the child ages and develops. Our emphasis is on helping the child learn about themselves and others, teaching the child about God’s love and helping the child to develop physically, emotionally, socially, and academically.
